Job Description

We are seeking inside sales representatives with at least 2 years of inside sales experience in a B2B setting to join our team headquartered in Newton, Massachusetts. Applicants with experience in the market research industry are highly desirable. Applicants with experience selling software-as-a-service (SaaS), or cloud-based solutions are also highly desirable.

In this role, you will identify and engage with market research professionals to understand their analysis and reporting needs and present the MarketSight value proposition. It will be your responsibility to manage the entire sales process: to initiate, present, negotiate, and close software sales with small- to medium-sized market research firms and corporate market research departments.


Responsibilities

  • Identify individual prospects in well-defined target markets
  • Initiate contact with prospects to understand their needs and present our value proposition
  • Work with the Customer Success Team to develop and deliver tailored, engaging, product demonstrations to a diverse audience to include executives, market researchers, marketing professionals, business analysts, and IT professionals
  • Close deals with small to medium sized businesses, meeting quarterly sales targets

Qualifications

  • Four-year undergraduate degree required
  • At least 2 years experience selling software - SaaS sales experience preferred
  • Experience in the Market Research Industry a plus
  • Excellent presentation, writing, and verbal skills
  • Ability to understand complex client challenges
  • Ability to present our technology solutions to qualified prospects
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal direct oversight
  • Ability to learn quickly and consistently perform at a high level
  • The skills and desire to thrive as part of a team

We are seeking a seasoned sales executive with at least 5 years of B2B sales experience to join our team headquartered in Newton, Massachusetts. Applicants with contacts and experience in the market research industry are highly desirable. Applicants with experience selling software-as-a-service (SaaS), or cloud-based solutions are also highly desirable.

In this role, you will engage with market research professionals to understand their analysis and reporting needs and present the MarketSight value proposition. It will be your responsibility to manage the entire sales process: to initiate, present, negotiate, and close software sales with the largest market research firms and corporate market research departments. This is a dynamic role that offers the opportunity to engage with many clients in a variety of settings, including in-person meetings, web-based seminars, industry events, and conference calls.

Marketing Manager


MarketSight LLC, headquartered in Newton, Massachusetts, is an innovative provider of web-based software for analyzing and visualizing data, a rapidly growing field. For ten years, thousands of users at leading market research organizations worldwide have used the MarketSight solution to analyze data and present results. We are a team of creative, hard-working, and dedicated people focused on solving important challenges in the analytics and visualization space and we are seeking energetic, intelligent, customer-oriented individuals to join our team.

In this role, you will plan and execute all marketing activities to generate demand for our solutions and drive qualified leads into the sales pipeline. This role will require you to roll up your sleeves, create compelling content, and master and use the tools required to identify, attract, and connect with qualified prospects for our solutions. Your success will be measured by qualified web site traffic, inbound inquiries, webinar attendance, and requests to trial our products.


Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute all of our marketing activities, including the following:
  • Lead acquisition and database management
  • Email marketing programs and tracking
  • Web site management and search engine optimization
  • Webinars for prospective clients
  • An active social media presence
  • AsDevelopment of client success stories and case studies
  • Trade shows, conferences, and sales road shows

Qualifications

  • Four-year undergraduate degree required, MBA a plus 
  • At least 3 years of experience in a marketing role in the software industry
  • Proven experience working with a salesforce automation tool such as salesforce.com
  • Experience and demonstrated expertise using marketing automation tools such as Pardot or Marketo
  • Proven experience using email marketing in successful lead generation
  • Experience and skills working with social media to promote our brand and drive business
  • Experience working directly with salespeople to convert prospects generated by marketing programs
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal direct oversight
