MarketSight is hosted with Rackspace Managed Hosting (www.rackspace.com), the award winning hosting provider. Rackspace uses a 100% Cisco-powered, Zero-Downtime NetworkTM, and has around-the-clock server and network monitoring to ensure your data is safe and always available when you need it.

| Authentication |
ASP.NET Forms Authentication and Windows Authentication are available. Both require a valid user name and password.

Entire sessions use SSL 128-Bit Encryption for confidential communication and data exchange at all times

| Storage |
Separate logical storage is provided for each company. All data are stored centrally on a server; no user data are stored in cookies. Sensitive data such as passwords are stored encrypted in the database.

MarketSight architecture is based on Microsoft® .NET technologies, including ASP.NET. To run MarketSight, users will need:
- Microsoft Windows® Operating System 2000 or higher
- Internet Explorer Browser 6.0 or higher
- Adobe® Reader® 5.05 or higer (for viewing banner reports)
- Microsoft Office 2000 or higher (for exporting charts and analyses to Excel® and PowerPoint®)
- High-speed Internet connection (for optimum performance)

MarketSight makes it easy to analyze research data by supporting a wide variety of data file formats, including SPSS®, SAS® and Excel. The standard configuration for the MarketSight hosted solution allows for data files with a maximum size of 1 gigabyte, 150,000 Respondents (rows), 10,000 Data Variables (columns) or a total of 30 million items (Respondents x Variables). Larger data files may be added with administrator approval, and on premises installations are easily configured to support larger data files.
